Which Dragons' Den investor was the youngest person ever to join the UK panel?

Steven Bartlett was the youngest person ever to join the UK Dragons' Den panel.

Bartlett joined the programme in 2022, becoming a Dragon at the age of 29. His appointment brought a younger technology and social-media perspective to a panel traditionally dominated by investors with long careers in retail, manufacturing, finance and property.

He co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency, with Dominic McGregor. The company grew from a digital-media venture into an international business, and Bartlett later became known as an entrepreneur, author and podcast host.

The record concerns age at the time of joining the UK panel, not the age at which Bartlett founded his first company or made his first investment. It is also separate from the question of who is the youngest Dragon at any particular later moment, since panel membership and ages can change over time.
