Which Dragon's Den investor was the founder of the card company Moonpig?

The story behind the answer

Nick Jenkins was the founder of the card company Moonpig.

Jenkins founded Moonpig in 2000 as an online personalised greeting-card service. The company allowed customers to choose designs, add personal messages and order cards through the internet, an approach that helped modernise the way greeting cards were bought and sent.

Moonpig later became a major online card retailer and expanded beyond its original service. Jenkins subsequently founded Funky Pigeon and became a Dragon's Den investor, so the two businesses are often mentioned together in accounts of his career.

The company name is sometimes confused with Funky Pigeon because both are online greeting-card brands associated with Jenkins. Moonpig was his earlier venture, while Funky Pigeon was a later business that he founded and developed.
