Which Dragon's Den investor offered to fund Reggae Reggae Sauce alongside Peter Jones?

The story behind the answer

Richard Farleigh offered to fund Reggae Reggae Sauce alongside Peter Jones on Dragon's Den.

Levi Roots pitched his Reggae Reggae Sauce on the programme in 2007. Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh made a joint offer of £50,000 for a 40% share of the business, and Roots accepted the deal shown on screen.

The pitch became one of the programme's best-known success stories. Roots, a Jamaican-British musician and entrepreneur, expanded the sauce brand into a wider food business after the appearance, helping turn a television pitch into a major commercial venture.

The investment is sometimes incorrectly attributed to Peter Jones alone because Jones became strongly associated with the deal. The on-screen offer, however, was made jointly by Jones and Farleigh, so Richard Farleigh is the requested partner.
