Sara Davies launched the stationery and craft brand Crafter's Companion.
Davies founded Crafter's Companion in 2005 after developing a product to help crafters make envelopes. The business grew from that initial idea into an international craft-supplies company, selling products through retail and online channels.
She joined Dragon's Den in 2019, becoming the programme's first female Dragon from the North East of England. Her own experience building a product company gave her a particularly direct connection with many creative and consumer-product pitches.
Crafter's Companion is not a stationery brand created for the television show. It predates Davies's Dragon's Den role by more than a decade. That timeline is useful because the company was already an established business when she joined the panel.
