Which Dragon's Den investor joined the regular panel in 2022 as its youngest-ever Dragon?

Steven Bartlett joined the regular Dragon's Den panel in 2022 as its youngest-ever Dragon.

Bartlett is a British entrepreneur, investor, author and podcaster. He co-founded the social-media marketing company Social Chain with Dominic McGregor and later became widely known for hosting The Diary of a CEO podcast. His background differs from that of several earlier Dragons because it is strongly tied to digital media, online communities and technology-enabled businesses.

The BBC announced Bartlett as a Dragon for the twentieth series, which aired in 2022. At 29, he was described as the youngest investor to join the programme's regular panel. His appointment reflected the growing importance of digital businesses and creator-led brands to modern entrepreneurship.

The “youngest-ever” description concerns his age when joining the regular panel, not the age of every contestant who has appeared on the show. Bartlett's appointment also made him the first Dragon from Generation Z-era business culture to become a regular panel member.
