Steven Bartlett joined the regular Dragon's Den panel in 2022 after founding Social Chain.

Bartlett co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency, with Dominic McGregor in 2014. The company built campaigns for major brands by using online communities, influencer-style content and social platforms rather than relying only on traditional advertising.

The BBC announced Bartlett as a new Dragon in 2021, and he made his programme debut in the 2022 series. His appointment brought a younger technology and digital-marketing perspective to the panel. He was the youngest Dragon when he joined.

Bartlett is also known for hosting The Diary of a CEO podcast and writing The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business and Life. Social Chain later became part of the publicly listed company The Social Chain AG. His television role should not be confused with his separate media career, which includes podcasting and publishing.
