Which Dragons' Den investor joined the panel in series 13 after replacing Piers Linney?

The story behind the answer

Touker Suleyman joined the Dragons' Den panel in series 13 after replacing Piers Linney.

Touker Suleyman, a British-Turkish entrepreneur and investor, became a Dragon in 2015 for the programme’s thirteenth series. He joined after Piers Linney left the regular panel, adding experience from fashion, manufacturing and retail to the investor line-up.

Suleyman is particularly associated with the fashion label Hawes & Curtis and with his ownership of the shirtmaker Ghost. His background gave him a strong interest in product design, supply chains, manufacturing costs and retail distribution. Those subjects frequently shaped his questioning in the den.

The chronology is easy to confuse because Dragons' Den has changed investors many times. Steven Bartlett joined much later, while Sarah Davies also became a Dragon in a later series. The relevant transition here is the move from Piers Linney to Touker Suleyman before series 13 aired.
