Sara Davies joined Dragon's Den in 2019 and founded Crafter's Companion.
Davies created Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a university student. Her first product was a tool designed to help card makers create envelopes, and she developed the idea into a broader craft-supplies company. The business grew through products, retail, and television shopping.
She joined the Dragon's Den investment panel in 2019, becoming one of the programme's prominent modern Dragons. Her expertise is especially associated with crafting, product development, manufacturing, and direct-to-consumer retail.
The date can be confused with the dates when other investors joined or left the panel. Davies's company also should not be confused with the similarly named craft brands sold by unrelated retailers; Crafter's Companion is the business she founded.
