Touker Suleyman joined the British series Dragon's Den in 2015 after building a business career in fashion and retail.
Suleyman is a British-Turkish entrepreneur and investor. His commercial activities have included fashion manufacturing, clothing brands and retail businesses, giving him experience in supply chains, product margins and consumer sales. Those subjects frequently arise when entrepreneurs pitch physical products to the Dragons.
He joined the panel during a later phase of the programme, replacing the earlier generation of investors rather than appearing in the original 2005 launch line-up. The year 2015 therefore identifies his arrival, not the date when he began working in business.
His name is sometimes confused with fellow retail-focused Dragon Theo Paphitis. Both have backgrounds connected with consumer businesses, but they are different investors and served during different periods of the show's panel history.
