Sara Davies joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2019 and became its youngest female Dragon.
Davies is a British entrepreneur who founded Crafter's Companion, a craft-supplies company, while she was a university student. The business grew from a product designed to help crafters into an international company selling tools, materials and related goods.
Her appointment added a younger entrepreneur with direct experience of building a product-based business. On Dragon's Den, she evaluates founders who are seeking capital, expertise and commercial partnerships, drawing on her own experience in manufacturing, retail and online sales.
The description concerns her status when she joined the panel, not a claim that she remains the youngest Dragon forever. It is also separate from the question of which Dragon was the youngest at the programme's original launch. Davies's business background is especially closely associated with crafts rather than restaurants, fashion or property.
