Kelly Hoppen joined the British Dragon’s Den panel in 2013 and is known for interior design.
Hoppen is a British designer whose work is associated with a minimalist style often described as combining clean lines, neutral colours and East Asian influences. She joined Dragon’s Den as an investor in 2013.
Her professional background differed from that of many Dragons who came primarily from retail, finance or technology. On the programme, she evaluated businesses from the perspective of a designer, brand builder and entrepreneur as well as an investor.
Kelly Hoppen is sometimes confused with other female Dragons because the panel has included several prominent women over the years. She should also not be confused with her niece, model and television personality Sienna Miller, who has a different career.
