Tej Lalvani joined the Dragon's Den panel in 2017 as an entrepreneur and investor associated with consumer products.
Lalvani is best known for his role as chief executive of Vitabiotics, a family-owned company that develops and sells vitamins and nutritional supplements. Vitabiotics brands include products marketed for different health and life-stage needs.
His arrival added a Dragon with experience in consumer healthcare, branded products, international distribution and family-business management. On the programme, he evaluated pitches ranging from retail products to technology and services.
Tej Lalvani is not the same person as Touker Suleyman, who joined the panel in 2015, or Steven Bartlett, who arrived later. The 2017 date identifies Lalvani's entry into the British series.
