Peter Jones is the only original dragon to appear continuously since the British show began.
Jones joined the original panel when Dragon's Den launched in 2005 and remained a regular investor through later changes to the cast. The first panel also included Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Paphitis, Rachel Elnaugh and entrepreneur-philanthropist Simon Woodroffe in the opening series.
The panel has changed many times. Deborah Meaden became a dragon during the third series, while later additions included entrepreneurs such as Kelly Hoppen, Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett. Those changes can make it easy to remember a long-serving investor as an original member even when that person joined later.
