Peter Jones is the only original Dragon still appearing on the British programme Dragons' Den.
Jones joined the original panel when the BBC series began in 2005. The first group of Dragons included Peter Jones, Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Doug Richard. Over the years, the panel changed as investors left and new Dragons joined.
Jones remained a continuous central figure through those changes. He is known on the programme for examining company valuations, ownership percentages and routes to growth. His long tenure has made him one of the most recognisable faces associated with the British version.
The wording matters because several early investors returned for occasional appearances or became strongly linked with the programme. However, the original panel did not remain intact, and Jones is the member identified as the sole original Dragon still on the show.
