Kelly Hoppen is the founder of the interior-design brand Kelly Hoppen Interiors.
Hoppen began working in interior design as a teenager and developed a distinctive style built around neutral colours, clean lines and restrained luxury. Her company, Kelly Hoppen Interiors, became associated with residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
She joined Dragons' Den as an investor in the 2013 series. Her professional background differed from that of many Dragons because she was primarily known as a designer rather than as the founder of a retail chain, technology company or investment house.
The name Kelly Hoppen Interiors can be confused with Hoppen’s wider personal brand and later licensing activities. The company is the interior-design business directly associated with her name. Her work has also included product design, books and television appearances outside Dragons' Den.
