Kelly Hoppen is the founder of the design brand Kelly Hoppen Interiors.
Hoppen began her interior-design career as a teenager and became known for a distinctive style combining neutral colours, clean lines and influences from Eastern design. Her work has included private homes, commercial interiors, hotels and transport-related projects.
Kelly Hoppen Interiors developed into a broader design brand offering furniture, lighting, accessories and other products alongside interior-design services. Hoppen joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2013 and brought specialist knowledge of design, branding and luxury retail to the programme.
She is sometimes confused with an investor whose main career was in general retail or finance. Hoppen's best-known professional identity before television investment was as an interior designer and design entrepreneur.
