Kelly Hoppen founded the interior-design company Kelly Hoppen Interiors.
Hoppen began working in interior design as a teenager and developed a style associated with clean lines, neutral colours and a balance of eastern and western influences. Her company handled residential and commercial design work, establishing her as a prominent British designer before her television appearances.
She joined Dragons' Den as an investor in 2013. On the programme, her design and branding experience gave her particular interest in products that could be presented attractively and developed into recognisable consumer brands.
Kelly Hoppen Interiors should not be confused with products merely endorsed by Hoppen or businesses in which she invested on television. The company is the design practice founded under her name, while her Dragons' Den role involved evaluating other entrepreneurs' proposals.
