Sara Davies is the Dragon's Den investor associated with the stationery and craft brand Crafter's Companion.
Davies founded Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at the University of York. Her first major product was the Enveloper, a tool designed to help crafters make envelopes for handmade cards. The company expanded into craft tools, materials and creative products sold internationally.
Davies joined the Dragon's Den panel in 2019, bringing direct experience of building a product business from a small start-up. Her company is sometimes confused with a conventional stationery retailer, but Crafter's Companion is principally a craft and papercrafting business. The founding year and her later television appointment are separate milestones.
