Peter Jones is the longest-serving continuous Dragon on the British television show Dragon’s Den.
Jones has appeared on the programme since its first series in 2005. His long tenure made him the only investor to remain on the regular panel throughout the show’s early changes in membership and later generations of Dragons.
He is a British entrepreneur whose business interests have included mobile communications, leisure, media and technology. On the programme, he is particularly associated with scrutinising sales, ownership percentages and the ability of a founder to scale a company.
This distinction is about continuous service on the British series, not necessarily the greatest number of investments or the highest personal wealth. Other prominent Dragons, including Deborah Meaden, joined later, while several original panel members eventually left the programme.
