Peter Jones has appeared as a Dragon in every series of the original BBC run of Dragons' Den.
Jones joined the programme when the British edition began in 2005 and became its only original Dragon to remain continuously on the main panel. His business interests include technology, media, retail and property, giving him a broad background for assessing the pitches brought into the Den.
The panel has changed repeatedly. Duncan Bannatyne and Rachel Elnaugh were among the early Dragons, while Deborah Meaden joined later and became one of the programme's most recognisable investors. Theo Paphitis also served as a prominent Dragon before leaving the regular panel.
Continuity can be confused with total appearances: a Dragon may return as a guest or appear in many series without having been present in every one. Jones's distinction is his uninterrupted main-panel tenure from the show's British launch.
