Which Dragon's Den investor founded YO! Sushi?

The story behind the answer

Simon Woodroffe founded YO! Sushi, the British restaurant chain known for serving dishes on a conveyor belt.

Woodroffe opened the first YO! Sushi restaurant in London in 1997. The concept adapted the Japanese kaiten-zushi conveyor-belt format for a British audience, allowing diners to select colour-coded plates as they passed their table.

The business helped make conveyor-belt sushi familiar to many UK customers and became Woodroffe's best-known entrepreneurial venture. He later became one of the original investors on the British version of Dragon's Den when it began in 2005.

YO! Sushi is often written as YO! SUSHI in branding, but the founder's name remains Simon Woodroffe. He should not be confused with Peter Jones or Theo Paphitis, who were also early members of the British panel but did not found the chain.
