Which Dragons' Den investor founded the craft company Crafter's Companion?

Sara Davies founded the craft company Crafter's Companion before joining BBC's Dragons' Den.

Davies established Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at York University. Her first product was a tool designed to help people make envelopes for handmade cards, and the company grew into a supplier of crafting tools, materials and accessories.

She joined the Dragons' Den panel in 2019, bringing specialist experience from the creative and craft sector. Davies became particularly associated with practical advice for small businesses and product-led entrepreneurs.

The company name is sometimes confused with a magazine or a single crafting product, but Crafter's Companion is the broader business founded by Davies. Its growth from a student invention into an international craft brand is a key part of her biography.
