Sara Davies became the youngest-ever Dragon when she joined the UK Dragon's Den panel.
Davies joined the programme in 2019, bringing experience from her craft-supplies business, Crafter's Companion. She founded that company while studying at the University of York after developing a product that helped crafters make envelopes.
Her age at appointment made her the youngest investor to sit on the UK panel. This fact is sometimes mixed up with her television debut or with the ages of other relatively recent Dragons, but the distinction concerns her age when she joined the investment panel.
Davies later became known for investing in consumer products and creative businesses. Her appointment also gave the programme an investor whose business background was rooted in crafting rather than the more traditional retail, property or technology sectors.
