Peter Jones became the first Dragon's Den investor to serve on the panel for 20 UK series.
Jones was an original Dragon when the programme began in 2005 and remained on the panel as the series reached its twentieth run. This milestone reflects continuity rather than a single investment: Jones's significance comes from being the only original investor to remain throughout the programme's UK history.
The panel has changed repeatedly over those years. Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Doug Richard and Simon Woodroffe were among the early investors who later left, while Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and other later Dragons joined at different times.
