James Caan appeared as a Dragon after founding the recruitment company Humana International.
James Caan is a British-Pakistani entrepreneur and investor whose early business career included recruitment. He founded Humana International, which grew as an executive-search and recruitment business before his television career brought him to a wider audience.
Caan joined Dragon's Den in series 5 and remained on the panel through series 8. His investment interests often reflected his experience in recruitment, property and business services, although he also considered consumer products and technology pitches.
He is sometimes confused with Piers Linney, another Dragon whose background centred more heavily on technology and finance. Richard Farleigh was also a former panellist, but he is not the investor associated with founding Humana International.
