Rob Law created the travel product Trunki.
Trunki is a ride-on suitcase designed for children. Law developed the concept through his company Magmatic and presented the product on Dragon's Den, where the pitch became one of the programme's most widely remembered business stories.
The product was designed to make travel more engaging for children while also functioning as hand luggage. Its distinctive shape and use as a ride-on case helped it stand out from conventional suitcases and gave the brand a clear visual identity.
Trunki is sometimes confused with Tangle Teezer because both are famous products linked with Dragon's Den and both were developed by British entrepreneurs. They are different businesses: Rob Law created Trunki, while Shaun Pulfrey created Tangle Teezer. The programme exposure and later commercial history should also be separated from the question of who designed the original product.
