Which Dragons' Den entrepreneur created the reusable children's suitcase brand Trunki?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law created the reusable children's suitcase brand Trunki featured on Dragons' Den.

Law designed Trunki as a ride-on suitcase for children, giving young travellers a way to sit on and pull their luggage. The product was developed by his company Magmatic and became one of the best-known British children’s travel products.

Law pitched the idea on Dragons' Den but did not secure an investment from the panel. The later commercial success of Trunki is often used as an example of a business that grew despite leaving the den without a deal. A television appearance therefore does not automatically mean that the entrepreneur accepted funding.

Trunki is also sometimes confused with the wider category of ride-on luggage or with products associated with other Dragons' Den contestants. The brand name identifies Law's specific children’s suitcase design and Magmatic’s product line.
