Which Dragon's Den entrepreneur created the children's luggage brand Trunki?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law created the children's luggage brand Trunki.

Law designed Trunki as a ride-on suitcase for children. The product combines luggage storage with a child-friendly form that can be ridden or pulled during travel, making it visually distinctive and easy to recognise.

The brand became widely known after Law appeared on Dragon's Den. Although the televised pitch is often discussed in connection with rejection, Trunki went on to develop into a successful business. Its later growth is a useful reminder that a programme’s investment outcome and a product’s commercial future are separate questions.

Rob Law is sometimes confused with the investors who questioned him in the episode. He was the entrepreneur and product creator; the dragons were the potential financiers evaluating his proposal.
