Which Dragon on the British TV show Dragons' Den founded the electronics company Amstrad?

The story behind the answer

Alan Sugar founded the electronics company Amstrad, making him the correct answer to the Dragons' Den question.

Sugar established Amstrad in 1968; the name came from his initials, A.M.S., and the word trading. The company first sold electronic goods and later became especially known for affordable home computers, including the Amstrad CPC range launched in the 1980s.

Amstrad also entered the satellite-television market and was acquired by Sky in 2007. Sugar became one of the best-known Dragons on the British programme, bringing the show his background in consumer electronics, manufacturing and business leadership. He was commonly addressed as Lord Sugar after receiving a life peerage in 2009.

Amstrad is sometimes confused with Sugar's later business interests, but it was the company he founded and led before joining the programme.
