Hilary Devey left the regular Dragon's Den panel in 2015 after joining the programme in 2011.

Devey became a Dragon during the programme's ninth series. She was already known as a logistics entrepreneur and as the founder and chief executive of Pall-Ex, a palletised freight network. Her business background gave the panel a perspective rooted in transport, distribution and logistics.

She remained on the show for several series before departing in 2015. The change was part of the programme's continuing rotation of investors, which has allowed Dragon's Den to refresh its panel while preserving its central pitch-and-investment format.
