Kelly Hoppen joined the UK television show Dragon's Den in 2013 after building a career in interior design.
Hoppen became known internationally for a design style combining neutral colours, clean lines and an emphasis on balanced interiors. She founded Kelly Hoppen Interiors and worked on residential and commercial projects, as well as product and furniture collections. Her design career preceded her television investment work by decades.
She joined Dragon's Den in 2013 and became the programme's first female Dragon since its original panel. Hoppen left the show in 2015. Her role is sometimes confused with that of Rachel Elnaugh, who was the original female Dragon; the two women served in different periods of the programme's history.
