Which Dragon joined the UK show Dragon's Den in 2015 as a replacement for Piers Linney?
Answer
Touker Suleyman
Touker Suleyman joined the UK show Dragon's Den in 2015 as a replacement for Piers Linney.
Suleyman entered the BBC panel for the programme's thirteenth series in 2015. He replaced Piers Linney, who had appeared as a Dragon in the preceding series. Suleyman brought experience from fashion retail, manufacturing and investment to the panel.
He is particularly associated with the clothing business and the Hawes & Curtis shirt company, as well as Ghost, the womenswear brand. Those interests helped shape the kinds of retail and consumer-business pitches for which he became known on the show.
Nick Jenkins joined the panel later, in series 14, so his name can cause confusion when recalling the mid-2010s lineup. James Caan and Richard Farleigh were earlier Dragons. The replacement detail identifies the 2015 appointment rather than simply asking for a current or former investor.
