Kelly Hoppen joined the British TV series Dragon's Den in 2013.
Hoppen is a British designer known for her interior-design work and her neutral, minimalist style. She joined the Dragon's Den investor panel in 2013, bringing a design and branding perspective alongside the commercial and financial expertise represented by the other investors.
Deborah Meaden had joined much earlier, in the third series. Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies became Dragons later, so their names fit the general category but not the 2013 arrival. The question refers to the year of Hoppen's appointment to the panel rather than the year she started her design career.
Hoppen's time on the programme was part of the continuing rotation of investors. Dragon's Den does not have a permanently unchanged panel: investors leave, join, or return across different series. That is why a year-based question is more precise than simply asking which Dragons have appeared on the programme.
