Sara Davies joined the British TV programme Dragon's Den in 2019 after founding Crafter's Companion.
Davies founded Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at the University of York. The company began with a tool designed to help crafters make envelopes, then expanded into papercraft products, tools, materials and international sales.
She joined Dragon's Den for its seventeenth series, becoming the youngest female Dragon at the time of her appointment. Her background differs from that of many panel members because her company grew from a specialist product developed for a hobby community.
Crafter's Companion is not connected to the similarly named television programme or to a Dragon's Den investment made by another investor. Davies is also known for appearing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, but that later television role is separate from her 2019 appointment to the BBC business show.
