Which Dragon joined the British television show Dragon's Den in its third series?

Deborah Meaden joined the British television show Dragon's Den in its third series.

Meaden is an English businesswoman and investor who became one of the programme's best-known Dragons. She entered the panel in the third series, adding extensive experience from consumer businesses, retail and leisure to the show's investment discussions.

Before her television career, Meaden was involved in business ventures including a family holiday business. Her direct questioning and attention to valuation, margins and ownership became defining features of her appearances. She has also invested in and advised businesses outside the programme.

Series numbers matter because the panel changed repeatedly as the programme developed. Meaden is not an original launch-series Dragon, and she should not be confused with later arrivals such as Touker Suleyman or Sara Davies. Her long association with the show nevertheless makes her one of the investors most closely identified with the British format.
