Sara Davies joined the British television show Dragon's Den as an investor in 2019.
Davies is a British businesswoman and entrepreneur known for founding Crafter's Companion, a craft-supplies company. She established the business while still a student after developing a tool that helped people make envelopes more easily and then expanding the product range.
Her appointment added a Dragon with experience in a specialist retail and manufacturing business built from an original product idea. On the programme, she evaluates pitches involving consumer products, craft, retail and other growing businesses.
The year can be confused with the arrival of later Dragons, particularly Steven Bartlett, who joined in 2022. It is also different from the year Davies founded Crafter's Companion. The relevant date is her television appointment, not the creation of her company or a later series broadcast.
