Touker Suleyman joined the British television series Dragons' Den in 2015 after building a career in fashion retail.
Suleyman is a British-Cypriot businessman and investor whose interests include fashion, manufacturing and retail. He became known for rescuing and developing retail brands, including the menswear chain Hawes & Curtis and the fashion retailer Ghost.
He joined Dragons' Den in 2015, bringing a background centred on products, sourcing, manufacturing and high-street distribution. Those areas differ from the technology and media specialisms associated with several other investors on the programme.
The date is easy to confuse with the arrival of fellow investor Nick Jenkins, who also joined during the 2015 period. Suleyman’s identifying clue is his fashion-retail background, particularly his association with Hawes & Curtis and Ghost.
