Which Dragon joined the British programme Dragons' Den in 2021?

Steven Bartlett joined the British programme Dragons' Den in 2021.

Bartlett became a Dragon in the twentieth series, joining the panel as an entrepreneur and investor with a background in digital media and technology. He was born in Botswana and grew up in Plymouth before co-founding the social-media marketing company Social Chain.

His appointment marked a generational change for the programme, adding a Dragon whose business career had been built largely through internet platforms and online communities. He later became widely known for hosting The Diary of a CEO podcast.

The year is sometimes confused with the dates when other recent Dragons joined. Sara Davies joined in 2019, while Bartlett's arrival came later. The key fact is that his first regular appearance on the panel began in 2021.
