Which Dragon joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2022?

Steven Bartlett joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2022.

Bartlett became a Dragon after building a career in digital media and entrepreneurship. He co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing company, and later became widely known as the host of the podcast The Diary of a CEO.

His appointment marked a generational change in the panel. Bartlett was notably younger than many earlier Dragons and brought expertise in social platforms, online communities, branding and technology-led businesses. The programme uses a rotating panel, so joining the show does not mean every Dragon appears in every episode.

The year can be confused with the dates when other modern investors arrived. Sara Davies joined in 2019, while Bartlett's first appearance as a Dragon was in 2022. His role connected the long-running BBC format with newer digital-business culture.
