Tej Lalvani joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2017 after building the Vitabiotics business.
Lalvani is a British businessman who became chief executive of Vitabiotics, the health and nutrition company founded by his father, Kartar Lalvani. Vitabiotics developed and marketed vitamin and nutritional supplement brands, giving Tej Lalvani experience in consumer products, branding and international distribution.
He joined Dragon's Den as part of a panel refresh in 2017. His commercial background made him particularly relevant to pitches involving retail products, health, food and consumer marketing, although entrepreneurs could seek investment from him across many sectors.
