Touker Suleyman joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2015.
Suleyman is a British-Turkish entrepreneur and investor whose business career has included fashion manufacturing, retail and brand ownership. He became associated with the rescue and development of fashion businesses, including the shirt company Hawes & Curtis and the footwear brand Ghost.
His experience made fashion, consumer products and retail pitches natural areas of interest on the programme. However, a Dragon's public business background does not restrict the sectors in which that investor can make offers; panel members may invest in technology, food, services and other categories.
Suleyman's start year is sometimes confused with those of other later Dragons. Tej Lalvani joined in 2017, while Steven Bartlett joined in 2022. These dates refer to first regular appearances on the British panel, not to the founding dates of the investors' companies.
