Kelly Hoppen joined Dragon's Den in series eleven after becoming known as an interior designer.
Hoppen joined the British programme in 2013 for its eleventh series. She was already an established designer and businesswoman, recognised for a design approach often described through neutral colours, clean lines and a blend of Eastern and Western influences.
Her addition broadened the panel's professional range beyond traditional finance, retail and manufacturing backgrounds. In the Den, she assessed ideas partly through the lens of branding, presentation, customer appeal and design-led positioning.
Hoppen is sometimes confused with other Dragons because several women joined the programme in successive eras. Her defining identification is the combination of interior design and her series-eleven arrival. She later left the regular panel, but her time on the show remains part of the programme's 2010s history.
