Steven Bartlett joined Dragons' Den in 2021 as the programme's youngest-ever investor at the time.
Bartlett is a British entrepreneur, author and podcaster best known as the co-founder of Social Chain, a social-media marketing company. He later became widely known for hosting The Diary of a CEO podcast, which features interviews with business leaders, public figures and experts.
His appointment brought a younger technology and social-media perspective to the panel. Bartlett was born in 1992, making him substantially younger than most Dragons when he joined the programme for its nineteenth series.
The phrase youngest-ever investor refers to the age of the Dragon when appointed, not to the youngest entrepreneur to pitch in the Den. Bartlett is also distinct from Tej Lalvani, who joined the panel earlier, and Nick Jenkins, the founder of Moonpig.
