Peter Jones is the only original investor to have appeared in every series of the British show Dragon's Den.
Jones joined the programme when it began in 2005, alongside the original panel of Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Deborah Meaden and Simon Woodroffe. The other original dragons eventually left or were replaced, while Jones remained a regular investor.
His business interests have included technology, media, telecommunications and property. On the programme, he is known for assessing both the commercial potential of a product and the entrepreneur's ability to build a company.
“Original investor” refers to the launch panel, not every dragon who appeared during the programme's history. That distinction rules out later additions such as Theo Paphitis and Richard Farleigh.
