Peter Jones has appeared in every series of the British TV show Dragon's Den.
Jones was part of the original panel when the programme began in 2005 and remained the sole original Dragon to continue through every series. His background includes interests in technology, telecommunications, media, and consumer businesses, which helped shape the range of pitches he assessed.
His continued presence makes him the programme's longest-serving Dragon. Other original panel members, including Duncan Bannatyne and Theo Paphitis, later left, while newer investors joined for particular series or returned as guest Dragons.
Viewers sometimes assume that the most familiar panel member must have been present from the beginning, but the line-up has changed considerably over time. Jones's uninterrupted run is a specific record within the British version, not a claim that he has invested in every business pitched.
