Peter Jones has appeared in every series of the British television show Dragon's Den since its 2005 debut.
Jones joined the original investor panel and became the only Dragon from the launch series to remain a regular investor throughout the programme's run. His business interests have included technology, media, telecommunications and retail, giving him a broad base for assessing the entrepreneurs' proposals.
The original panel changed substantially over time. Investors such as Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Doug Richard were part of the early line-up, while later series introduced figures including Deborah Meaden and newer Dragons.
This fact is often confused with the idea that the panel itself has stayed unchanged. In reality, the continuing presence of Peter Jones is the stable link between the first BBC series and later versions of the show.
