Peter Jones has appeared in every series of the BBC's Dragon's Den since its 2005 debut.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and businessman whose interests have included technology, telecommunications, property and retail. His continuing presence made him the sole original investor to remain on the regular panel throughout the programme's long run.
The original panel also included Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Doug Richard. Several of those investors left after early series, while later panels introduced figures such as Deborah Meaden, Kelly Hoppen and Touker Suleyman.
Jones is sometimes mistaken for the show's longest-serving investor alongside every original Dragon, but the distinction is that he alone remained continuously from the first series. His business profile also includes the Peter Jones Foundation, which supports young people and education.
