Sara Davies founded the craft-supplies company Crafter's Companion before joining Dragons' Den.
Davies started Crafter's Companion in 2005 while studying at university. Her first major product was the Enveloper, a tool designed to help crafters make envelopes in different sizes for handmade cards. The business expanded from that initial idea into an international craft-products company.
She joined Dragons' Den in 2019 and became one of the programme's younger regular investors. Her expertise is especially relevant to product design, direct-to-consumer sales and enthusiast markets. Crafter's Companion is sometimes reduced to a stationery brand, but its range includes papercraft, sewing, die-cutting and other craft equipment.
