Which Dragon founded the craft company Crafter's Companion?

Sara Davies founded the craft company Crafter's Companion.

Davies started Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at York University. The business began after she developed a product to help crafters make envelopes for handmade cards. It grew from that focused idea into a company selling craft tools, materials and accessories internationally.

Her entrepreneurial success led to television work and eventually to her appointment as a Dragon on the BBC programme in 2019. She brought first-hand experience of building a product business, creating a brand and selling to a specialist consumer community.

Crafter's Companion should not be confused with the companies associated with other female Dragons. Deborah Meaden is linked to leisure and investment businesses, Kelly Hoppen to interior design, and Jenny Campbell to banking and financial services. Davies's defining company is the craft brand she created.
