Peter Jones founded Phones International Group, the telecommunications business later associated with Wireless Logic.
Jones established Phones International Group in 1998. The company operated in mobile telecommunications, reflecting his long-standing focus on technology, communications and consumer electronics.
Wireless Logic later became a significant name in managed connectivity and machine-to-machine communications. The corporate history involves acquisitions and restructuring, so company descriptions can vary between sources and periods.
This fact concerns Jones's own entrepreneurial portfolio, not a company that received an investment from him on Dragon's Den. Peter Jones has been part of the BBC programme since its original series and is its longest-serving Dragon.
